Junctions

In truth, there aren't very many types. But it's sometimes hard to recognise those few types because their parts are arranged differently.

However, people come in different colours and sizes yet we can still recognise a fellow human (without thinking they’re a cat, for example). We do this even if parts are missing (such as a limb or an eye) or put together differently.

And so with road junctions. Just give yourself a little time before you reach it, to tell if it's a T-junction, crossroads, level (railway) crossing, drive-thru roundabout, and then who will have priority (you, or “not you”).
