From today, instructors CAN still help pupils book driving tests provided it's <a href="https://content.govdelivery.com/accounts/UKDVSA/bulletins/416babc" target="_blank">the pupil who actually makes the booking</a> (and who will have to verify identity).<br /><br />A pair of pupils who wish to swap must be available in a phone call at the same time.&nbsp; The time is pre-agreed by them.&nbsp; The first pupil calls 0300 200 1122 option 1.&nbsp; The second pupil need supply only booking reference number.&nbsp; Neither pupil will know the other&rsquo;s identify.&nbsp; DVSA will email the two pupils to confirm the swap.&nbsp; (Contact numbers will henceforth always be required when booking).&nbsp; Bots will thereby be blocked, and t<span>est-swap apps should also soon fade away</span>.<br /><br />ADIs can use OBS to preclude certain dates as unavailable to students.&nbsp;
