Economics

The Greek for this is εκονομια.  It simply means "running the household".  We can do that by micro-managing or taking a broader/longer view: "macro-economics".

In terms of driving, be more macro.  Do the big stuff first (the car's 'driver assistance systems' will help with the details).  Look far ahead and plan for the future (= invest), but keep scanning back to where you are, so your resources are sensibly budgeted and allocated (= cashflow).

At all times, maximise your effectiveness with the minimum effort.  Others can then predict and more confidently plan their own trajectories.  Mass activity should thereby result in the greatest benefit for the biggest number: a wealth of road users.
