A survey in early 2000s estimated 70 hr of driving is needed before success at a practical test.  But some people manage it in 30-40.

A lot depends on your coordination skill.  Estimate 2x your age for the hours needed.  Your own rate of learning might mean your sessions work better over a variable period.

It's useful to occasionally have a third person in the car, so you get used to being observed ... like the examiner will do.  I'll ask you first!
