My 7th teaching car is an electric Peugeot 208, so no gears.
It's a similar size to what you're likely to get as a first car, but yours may use liquid (= fossil) fuel. See its main controls ... and the small differences from the previous one. Being electric (or an automatic) shouldn’t prevent you learning in this car. You won't lose any skills learned in a manual, or needed to later swap into one, but a car that does lots for itself is more relaxing and a faster way into safely using the road. It also has a lot of modern safety features. Here are the advantages I’ve discovered. |
