My car
|
My sixth teaching car is an electric Peugeot 208, so no gears. It's a similar size to what you're likely to get as a first car, but yours may use liquid (= fossil) fuel. See its main controls and some important facts about EVs.
Being electric (or an automatic) shouldn’t prevent you learning in this car. You won't lose any skills learned in a manual, or needed to later swap into one, but a car that does lots for itself is more relaxing and a faster way into safely using the road. It also has a lot of modern safety features. Here are the advantages I’ve discovered. |
