Me
|
After a degree in 1985, I worked till ‘92 as a scientist, in London and New York. I then did 18 years in heritage property and law for the Church of England, where I also wrote a national database and managed IT.
Age 45, I fancied self-employed coaching. So I trained as a driving tutor and find its benefits better than expected. I've fared well in my periodic Standards Checks (the DVSA's equivalent of OFSTED quality-inspection). I've also written for ADInews, Driving Instructor and Intelligent Instructor, sat on local and regional committees, and been co-director of a £7M community project. But no teacher's perfect, so I even use my mistakes to help your learning. See how I think my way works and, more important, students' comments. |
