I hope you can understand why this is more than the usual rate. It's because the examiner won't always intervene (as I try to) to prevent damage to my tyres, wheels or paint if you happen to put the car into a pothole or glass, strike a sharp kerb, or hit a low-hanging branch.
I don't make a profit from this. It's simply a way of making up for the lower value of the car when I need to replace it and it has cosmetic damage, or needs the wheels realigning. I will try to have my car available for test but some factors are outside my control. |
