You can hire my car to use for your practical test (if I agree you are ready). This costs twice the lesson rate.

This is more than the usual hourly rate because the examiner won't always intervene to prevent damage to my tyres, wheels or paint if you happen to drive into a pothole or glass, strike a sharp kerb, or hit a low-hanging branch.
I don't make a profit from charging more. It simply compensates for the lower value of the car when I need to replace it and it has cosmetic damage, or needs the wheels realigning. I will try to have my car available for test, if factors are not outside my control. |
