King … or Queen
If your place in life is to actually be the monarch, you’ll probably have someone to do all the driving for you. Although, like the late Queen Elizabeth, if you have enough estate you can just bump about in a Land Rover until you feel confident … though you’ll have to know how to tell what your subjects are doing if you ever share roads :)
Joking aside, there’s quite a lot relatable from the recent UK Coronation ceremony to see identical principles of what’s being attempted on the roads, and why and how:
1. be inclusive:
2. aim for continuity:
3. you’re not alone: help’s at hand
4. there’s time to learn as you go, and get better
5. know the symbols and marks: they point the way
6. pace should be sedate: this stuff is serious, potentially risky, but not sad and actively dangerous if we’re diplomatic and plan well
