Motor
Many cars are now using electricity to propel them, rather than fossil fuel. (Here are some important facts about these "EVs").
A motor uses a simple physical force created when electric current passes close to a magnet. So the car has a battery instead of a reservoir of liquid petrol or diesel. There are fewer moving parts to wear out, and no wasted heat. Another advantage is that the car’s moving energy can be ‘harvested’, by the same physical relationship, to make electricity and replenish the battery. It's all VERY simple! |
