Stairs ... and escalators
Why walk uphill when you can ride? Isn’t that the point of using a car?
Well, there ARE reasons, especially these days, to walk (or run) rather than be carried. Health, pollution, cost, community, fresh air, vitamin D. But some of the moving of your legs CAN be done for you. If you walk up to an escalator, along level ground, it will then introduce the steps up the hill for you, so you don’t need to bend your knees. |
