Law
Using a public road is, by nature, a social activity. Others may turn up, so we have a common-law duty for their welfare. Specific to drivers, rules and responsibilities apply.
But unlike any legal dispute, on the road there’s no place for adversaries, only “co-defendants” against risk. Try to regard everyone as innocent (perhaps just naïve) until proven guilty. Whether made by you or another road user, a mistake is an opportunity for a lesson to be learned, not a life sentence. |
