Examiners

These people come in all shapes and sizes. Of course they do: they’re human individuals, like you and me. But they’re highly trained, and continually monitored, so they assess you fairly.
My experience is they do that >95% of the time, and they won’t know if you failed before.
But, expect to feel different when you meet them. You’ll react emotionally. We all would. So, as you walk to your car, take the chance to speak to them, to build rapport or to learn their accent, before you sit down and make the car move. See more about the language they'll use. |

And, while driving, chat: impersonal, light-hearted stuff. Take the lead: it’s YOUR test. You’re just hiring a government official to professionally assess you. Believe you are in charge because you ARE. All the controls are set before you. YOU decide what happens.
Lastly, ignore what their hands do. Not every note they make is a fault. It’s not YOUR job to interpret that. Yours is to focus, and perform.
