Music
There's a certain rhythm to driving. As with dance, the overall flow's made up of set-piece routines. And, though you're not always part of a symphony orchestra, everyone's moving to some sort of beat: pedestrian walkers and joggers; horses cantoring; cyclists cranking their wheels round; motorists doing their sequential suck-squeeze-bang-blow … Da Capo.
The musical journey of you all is constrained by the stave. Within it you've freedom of expression, per conventions understood by all road users (or musicians alike). There are pauses and slurs, "slow movements", and the odd Allegro. So read ahead, so you're ready for what's coming. |

You may be a heavy breve-r (articulated lorry) or a dainty quaver-er (electric bike) but, whatever style bangs your drum, try to avoid being staccato. Solo breaks may pass among you while others get stuck, jamming together. Rather than "in concert" and under one conductor, the musical progression's more like improv jazz.
