Performance
Your drive should never be aiming to show off. Except your own prowess to yourself. (And, arguably, on the test).
The “audience” is a just a mix of unrelated strangers, constantly milling in and out : like at a cabaret bar rather than a sit-down theatre. So, largely ignore their opinion; just aim for your best “art” (no critic will be writing about you in the papers tomorrow). Overall, your car is your “costume” or theatrical prop. Make it part of you, so you move elegantly, enhancing how you wish to be seen and understood. |
