Self
We start off thinking that driving is about working a machine. It soon turns out that's the easy part, made easier with 100 years of engineers refining the controls, so people of all abilities can "operate the car".
We discover that driving is more about us: how we expect others to behave; how generous we are; what we demand of ourselves. Try not to put a big burden on yourself. A small child doesn't, when learning a new skill of coordination. They just persevere. (They get self-conscious about their performance only when they're older). Take time to take stock. "Listen to how you are". Success comes. Even after a mistake or failure. |
